- For unknown reasons, the intro for this episode only was slightly changed, as the clip of a kid laughing was replaced with a clip of a kid eating a sandwich. Interestingly, the sped-up intro for "Speed" reverts to the laughing kid.
- Four recurring segments not found in "Patience" appear in "Speed": Dear Jesus, So Now You Know, Beat Kids, and Funny/Not Funny. In turn, one recurring segment from "Patience" doesn't appear in "Speed": Breaking News.
- The Double Speed Double Dutch skit from "Speed" reuses the "A Few Seconds Later" gag from "Space".
